CANTUS
is a an ecumenical residential choir camp for kids on the beautiful campus of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer,
North Carolina. Our goal is to provide spiritual, social, and musical development for the growing child.
History of the Camp
Eight years ago a group of church musicians and Christian educators made a commitment to work
together and offer a quality choir camp for children. Originally at Wingate University, then Lenoir-Rhyne
University, CANTUS (named in 2008) has grown to over 140 participants representing 16 churches and two
denominations.
We are excited to move to our new location this summer at Pfeiffer University.
